Hi,

I'm not sure if this is a Windows problem or a DisplayFusion problem, but whenever I wake my computer up from sleep, all the applications on my secondary monitor have moved to the primary monitor, which is really annoying! Does anyone know how to fix this?

I've tried turning "Allow DisplayFusion to manage the Screen Saver" on and off - it happens either way.

I'm running Windows 7 Professional 64-bit.

What type of connection do the monitors use? Is one using DisplayPort? If so, I believe DisplayPort monitors actually disconnect from Windows when they're powered off or enter sleep mode.

Could you also exit DisplayFusion completely, and allow the monitors to sleep? This way we can confirm whether it's a DisplayFusion issue or not :)

Thanks!

Ah, so that's it! Yes, the seconday monitor is using DisplayPort. It still happened when I exited DisplayFusion completely too.
I don't suppose there's any way around the problem then :/

Unfortunately I haven't found a way around it yet :(

We've had previous requests to save window positions and restore them with a HotKey. We're certainly considering adding that functionality at some point, but still need to check it out and see if it's possible :)

Dang, too bad.
I'll keep my eye out for the feature in the future. In the meantime I suppose I'll just disable them going to sleep at all.

Thanks for the help! :)

I am having this same issue, only my primary monitor is DVI, and secondary is HDMI. Any advice??

Is the HDMI monitor a TV? Also, we did eventually add the "Save Window Positions" and "Restore Window Positions" functions on the Settings > Functions tab, so you can assign key combinations to them and use them to save and restore the window sizes and positions when they get messed up due to a monitor disconnect/reconnect :)

Should this still be happening? I have DVI, HDMI and Display port monitors attached. All applications move to the actual machine (Surface Pro 4) when resuming from sleep.
