I tried searching but didn't come up with anything...

Is there a way, after splitting the main screen into sections, to clone just one of those sections onto the second display?

Example: I split my laptop into 2 sections, i run powerpoint in one section and clone that section to the projector. Then i can see my powerpoint slides on my screen, but I also have a second split in front of me to keep other applicatoins open and functioning without sharing everything at once.

It's not possible to mirror a single split at the moment, but you can mirror a single application. On the Settings > Functions tab, assign a key combination to the "Mirror Window" function. Then focus the window you want to mirror and press the key combo. It will open a new window showing the output of the original window, which you can then move to any other monitor.

Hope that helps!

thank you. that gets me a step closer to what i'm trying to do.

I guess I'll make a feature request to make an option to mirror a split (i.e. 1.2 onto monitor 2) so anything dropped into the split, or alt-tabbing in that split, will mirror to the other monitor (in my case, to a projector).

Other than that, I love the program.

No problem, glad to hear you like DisplayFusion! I've added that to our feature request list, and we'll definitely let you know if/when we're able to implement it :)

Thanks!

I also would love to see this feature added. I have an ultrawide and a projector in my classroom and would like to mirror/clone one of the splits on my ultrawide over my projector screen. This would allow me to display a section of my ultrawide to the class via the cloned projector (presentations, class assessments, etc.), and keep the other sections visible only to me (email, answers keys, etc.) Consider this feature request official +1'd. Thanks!

Hi!
Using the "Mirror Window" function, is it possible to mirror the window in fullscreen so the resolution on the mirror is the same as the original window? As it is now the mirror is slightly smaller and blurred.

Best regards
Tomas

@Tomas12: There isn't currently an option for this, but I'll add it to our feature request list.

Thanks!
