Re: DF7 beta 02
Windows 8.1 Pro MC
Classic Shell / Classic Menu 4.1.0

The uploaded pic shows it all. Note as well, the 'Widows Flag' [Start button] image is slightly cut off at the bottom. Have confirmed this bug on two separate 8.1 Desktop systems.

Best ~ Hans-Peter

Addendum: This is a Windows 8.1 problem; just tested DF7 beta 2 on Windows 7 Pro without issue.

Yep, that's still on our list :)

For the Start button, could you attach the custom start button image that you're using for that screenshot so that I can test it out here?

Thanks!

Thanks, Keith. In Beta 3 I notice that the Start Menu continues to open behind the DF Taskbar [Windows 8.1], as well as the persistence of this much more minor issue with the slightly cut-off image for the Start Button in Classic Menu.

All good wishes ~ Hans-Peter

We've just released a new DisplayFusion beta version (http://www.displayfusion.com/Download/Beta/) and this issue should be all fixed up. Please let us know if you run into any trouble after updating.

Thanks!

Keith: Thank you very much for checking back.

Beta 12 not only places the Start menu from Classic Shell over the DF Taskbar, it now correctly displays all of the custom button [vertical placement] — white Windows logo in my screenshot below.

Well done indeed!

I really appreciate your persistent effort and attention to detail.

Every good wish ~ Hans-Peter
