i would like the ability to have my settings stored in the cloud on one of the major services, box, dropbox, google drive, etc. then when installing DF it would ask you if it would like to pull the settings from the cloud this way we dont have to worry about the backup files at all..

also is there a way in the mean time to change the default location of the backups dir?

thanks

Cloud. Resounding MEH from me. If you want it that bad, back up the settings to dropbox.. there's your cloud backup.

There isn't currently a way to change the default backup location, but it's something we might add in the future. I've added your vote to the open feature request.

I've also created a new feature request for an option to backup your settings to cloud storage.

Thanks!

We've just released a new DisplayFusion beta version (http://www.displayfusion.com/Download/Beta/) and you can now specify a custom backup path in the Advanced Settings :)

Thanks!
