Hello,

I configure DisplayFusion according to the attached screenshot because I want that DisplayFusion moves windows that appears on the wrong display but not windows that appears on the same display (even if they appear at the wrong position). In other words I want DisplayFusion to only fix window positions if they are totally wrong (e.g. dialog on the left monitor and parent window on the right monitor).

Unfortunately the given settings still trigger DisplayFusion to move modal dialogs that appear on the same monitor as the parent window is shown. For example the confirmation dialog of the Windows Explorer partition format operation appears on the same monitor and is moved by DisplayFusion.

I think this is a bug because the given settings should only affect windows (or modal dialogs) that appear on the other monitor (and not on the same as the parent window).

Best regards!

That should definitely be the way it works. Are your monitors split at all? A split is considered a different monitor, so if the Explorer window is in one split, and the dialog pops up on or mostly on another split, it will get moved.

Oh yes, the jumping dialogs are all shown near the center of the monitor and because I use horizontal splitting they are moved around. To be honest that is not obvious. :P

Would it be possible to introduce an option "ignore splitting" to let this feature only handle real monitors? At least for me that would be highly appreciated.

That might be a possibility! I'll put that on our list, and we'll post an update if we're able to add that :)

Thanks!
