In Windows 7 I have an issue where all programs of a similar type are grouping (e.g. all firefox windows are grouped together, all pdfs are grouped together, etc.). I know there is an option in "taskbar and start menu properties" to set the taskbar to never combine. I already do that but what I actually want is for those separate programs to be placed in whatever order I want on the taskbar. I have researched this and it doesn't appear it is available in Windows 7 (although it was in XP and Vista). Since it is not available in the OS I thought it might be available in DF but didn't see it in the options. Hopefully I just missed it.

To better illistrate this if I didn't explain it very well, if I have 5 firefox windows on the taskbar along with 20 other programs and I want to move only one of the firefox windows from the left side to the right side of the taskbar, when I move only one of them all 5 come along for the ride.

Thanks!

DisplayFusion can't modify that behaviour on the Windows taskbar, but I believe the 7+ Taskbar Tweaker can do it: http://rammichael.com/7-taskbar-tweaker

Hope that helps!

thanks, i didnt know about this app. i know ive requested this before for DF, but it would be cool to have DF do this or replace the main taskbar with a DF one that is used on the other monitors.. if for nothing else than to be running another app.. ;-P

Thanks, Keith!

That worked perfectly and did exactly what I needed. There's a ton of other options in there I will have to explore when I have time.
