Has anyone written a script to switch the source input of ones monitors?

My Monitors
HP Compaq LA2206x go from DVI to HDCP and back
ViewSonic VA2342-LED go from DVI to VGA and back
Asus VS247H-P go from DVI to HDMI and back

I'm running Windows 8.1 Pro and DisplayFusion Pro 7.1 with two AMD Radeon HD 7700 Series graphics cards cross-fired.

The reason for this is to utilize an IOGear peripheral switch to share a mouse/keyboard between two computers. I don't want to get a full KVM switch because a halfway decent one for 3 high resolution monitors costs over $250.

Thanks

DisplayFusion isn't able to do this at the moment, but I did find a free app that can do it, as long as the monitor supports it. It's the link called "mControl" at the bottom of this page: http://www.entechtaiwan.com/

Hope that helps!

Hi - Any chance this is supported by DisplayFusion now? I'd prefer to use DF over installing another display utility (Dell Display Manager)

Thanks for the quick reply!

For anyone else stumbling across this post, this can be achieved in Windows with the Dell Display Manager. You can create shortcuts to switch inputs if your monitor is supported:

ddm.exe /1:SetActiveInput DVI1

ddm.exe /1:SetActiveInput HDMI1

ddm.exe /1:SetActiveInput DP1

Append an "/exit" if you just want DDM to start, switch inputs, and close.
