Currently on DFv7 beta, the Startisback button on alternate taskbar don't have the glow animations.

Also I am having a hard time clicking that button on the alternative taskbar. Like right in the corner of the display, clicking the start button has no response until I move down a bit in the center of the button.

Unfortunately it's not possible for us to implement the glow animation at the moment, but if we're able to in the future, we'll definitely let you know :)

Regarding clicking in the corner not working, are you running Windows 8.x? If so, the top-left corner is a hot corner for switching between metro apps, so if no metro apps are open, it will appear to do nothing. You should be able to fix this up by disabling the "When I click the upper-left corner..." option on the Navigation tab of the Windows taskbar Properties.

Hope that helps!

I've completely turn off everything for corner activation.

But I think this is a problem with Startisback itself now. I have Start8 also, Start8 did not have this problem but Startisback. It is possible if you can test if this does the same thing for you?

Either having taskbar at the top or bottom same problem, I'm using Small taskbar mode on Windows 8.1.

This problem only occur on the non-main screen taskbar. Force your mouse right into the corner of the button. It has no effect clicking on it.

Reason I am using Startisback because it allows me to switch different color on the taskbar separately from the windows color.

Setting in Startisback:

Ok, I'll definitely test this out here and we'll see what we can do :)

Ok, I was able to reproduce this here, and it does indeed appear to be related to StartIsBack specifically. I've added it to our list and we'll be sure to let you know if/when we're able to get it fixed up :)

Thanks!
