When playing WarThunder yesterday I found that display fusion was casuing the game to "alt tab" to the desktop, therefore I uninstalled display fusion with the aim of reinstalling it after I was done on the game... This fixed the problem crashing the game but started another problem.

after reinstalling Display fusion I had a problem with the taskbars messing up... The stock windows taskbar would no longer hide itself however the display fusion ones did, the stock windows task bar moved itself to another monitor under a display fusion taskbar and when the taskbar was in the centre screen which is where I put it the start menu moved to the left screen.

I tried reinstalling display fusion, uninstalling display fusion, removing nvida surround, reinstalling nvida drivers with a clean install even removing two screens nothing has fixed it
now without display fusion or nvidia surround the taskbar will auto hide, but it only spans one monitor (something that windows does not do without displayfusion eventhough it is NOT installed) I belive this is casuing my problems. when enabling surround or display fusion the task bar will no longer hide... also standard windows taskbar moves arround and the start menu will not line up/be on the correct monitor.

I'd be very grateful for any help as I'm getting very annoyed with the content problems of Displayfusion so let me know if you need anymore information

I'm running displayfusion on steam with the latest version and the latest Nvidia drivers (GTX770) with a Nvidia surround setup 3 X 1920/1080 monitors

Responded to your Steam discussions post as well, but I'll post it here too for others to see:

When you enable the Monitor Splitting in DisplayFusion, you should get prompted to disable the NVIDIA Helper Processes. At that prompt, did you click Yes or No? These types of problems crop up if those NVIDIA Helper Processes are running when DisplayFusion Monitor Splitting is also running.

Ok, can you check the Settings > Advanced Settings window to make sure that the "General: Don't check NVIDIA processes" option is not enabled, and then if you're prompted again to disable them click Yes?

If you still have trouble after that, could you attach a debug log? Here are the steps for that:
  • On the Troubleshooting tab, change the Logging drop-down to "Logging: Important Only"
  • Restart DisplayFusion
  • The next time it occurs, note the time so we'll know where to check in the log file
  • Send us the DisplayFusion.log and DebugInfo.html files (can be found by clicking the Open Log button on the Troubleshooting tab)
  • Disable debug logging after sending the log

Thanks!
