Hello. I came across this thread that was made around 2009-2010. It basically has the same question that I have.

I have three monitors. Two are computer monitors. The third is a pretty large TV, that is somewhat positioned away from my computer. I would like to know if there is a way to have a wallpaper span my two normal computer monitors, while I have a normal wallpaper on my TV.

This is still open on our feature request list, so I've added your info to it. We'll let you know as soon as we're able to implement it :)

Thanks!

Please add me to the list looking for this feature.

I have three identical monitors spanning horizontally across my desk with a deep supply of wallpapers. I've just added a fourth smaller screen located above the others for a collection of small applications I don't want taking up prime real estate at eye level. Now, my wallpapers are all catywompus. Would like the spanned image to ignore the fourth, smaller monitor.

This is not optimal, but since the monitor I want to ignore wallpaper is above the others, I've used my 5760x1080 wallpapers (used across three monitors) and created wallpapers with the appropriate amount of "blank" space at the top (in this instance, 5760x2130 total size, with the top portion of the wallpaper being a solid color).

This is WAY too hands-on and a function that I think DF should handle in the future, but at least my wallpapers don't look funny any longer.

We've just released DisplayFusion 6.0 Beta 7, and you can now combine monitors while using the Different Image background mode, so that you can have an image span certain monitors, but not others.

Details on how it works can be found here: http://www.displayfusion.com/KB/WallpaperCombining

Thanks!

Sorry to revive this thread, but what about the possibility of doing the same thing, but with screensavers?

I have 8 monitors, 6 controlled by two Matrox triple play to go, and 2 Vizio LCDs. I can span everything perfectly and it runs great, however, I am looking to have a screensaver spanned across the Matrox triple play units (6 LCDS), and allow the Vizio screens to just show my security cameras and a slideshow.

At the moment we don't have any plans to do this for the screen saver, but I will definitely post an update if we're able to implement it in a future version :)

Thanks!

As I understand here, this is the "game" when you have 3 or more monitors...

However, I have a question, when we have only 2 monitors, but we want that some wallpapers here be different on one of the monitor, different wallpapers on the other monitor also..., but, at the end, there is a very few and specially wide HQ wallpapers all here, that we also want to add, but as span across both of those same 2 monitors, and within the same created Profile all here?

On other words, is it possible to combine in just one single created profile, separated wallpapers on two monitors, and at the end of this process, also add the few wide and span wallpapers on those same 2 monitors?

Very great thanks everybody in advance to answer this question and best wishes to all here for the soon Holidays!

@Bron: DisplayFusion doesn't currently have the ability to combine spanned and different images in the same profile, but it's something we may add in the future. In the meantime, you could setup separate profiles, and then do some trickery to randomly load the profile instead: http://www.displayfusion.com/KB/RandomWallpaperProfile/

Hope that helps, and happy holidays to you!
