I've been encountering some strange behavior with my copy of DisplayFusion when it comes to my taskbar and window Aero colors.

First, upon changing my DF settings or starting my computer, my Aero color is set to black. I have to re-apply my desktop wallpaper settings in order to get the color to be applied properly. This seems to happen regardless of the Aero color setting I've chosen.

Second, DF is applying different colors than Windows does. For instance, using the attached image as my wallpaper gave me a blue Aero color before installing DF, but now it's a sort of peach color instead. This doesn't really bother me, since the color appears to be more accurate when DF applies it than when Windows does; but since it's behavior different from the default that doesn't appear to be documented in the manual, I felt I should mention it.

My DF version is 5.1.1, on Steam.

I've tested and confirmed the first issue. We'll hopefully have it sorted out for the next version :)

As far as the dominant colour detection goes, Windows must be doing the detection differently than we are. I'll add a note to our help text about it.

Thanks!

We've just released a new DisplayFusion beta version and this issue should be all fixed up. Please let us know if you run into any trouble after updating.

Thanks!
