I have the same problem, I just downloaded DisplayFusion 2.1.1 and filled in my proxy server info (just like I did with Firefox, which works fine), but it keeps telling me the same "(407) Proxy Authentication Required" error when it tries to check for updates or I try to access pictures via Flickr.

I'll be glad to test anything out for troubleshooting this if you want. See attached screenshots.

You are the first to report this issue, so it isn't very common. Do you have to specify a domain with your username at all (like domain\username or username@domain.com)? Do you have any other software (non-Microsoft) that works ok with the proxy? Is this a known problem?
