DisplayFusion gets the monitor information from the Windows API.

It could be an issue with the monitor cable, or with the monitor itself. The only thing I can suggest is to try a different cable, and try the monitor on a different computer, to see if it works there.

I know this seems to be a common problem and I've read so many threads on here and nothing suggested has worked, I've spent the last couple or hours searching for ways to get it working.

At this point I am unsure if my PC can even handle it.

I have a pretty low budget DinoPC just to get me going after my old PC died.

It is an AMDAthlon(tm) X4 860K Quad Core Processor 3.70Ghz (sorry not sure if anyone would need to know this but just in case!).

I have tried connecting my BenQ GL2250 monitor to it via both HDMI and DVI and it just says 'Didn't detect another display'.

On device manager it doesn't show up in display adapters or monitors so I'm unable to update anything on there which I've seen is a common way for people to get them to work, all it shows for me is my primary monitor which is fully up to date.

Also in my BIOS settings there seems to be no option to check if dual display is enabled (another common answer I found too).

If anyone has any suggestions that may work for me please let me know, I'm ready to throw my monitor out of the window.
