I think it may be based on how much of the window enters the screen with the Start screen on it, but I'm not 100% sure. The only thing I can think of would be to do a hit test in that section of the screen to check if the Start screen is under the mouse cursor, and if it's not, then send a Win key to open it back up again. I think i might end up doing the keyboard in rainmeter, and overlaying it over the entire desktop, when when you click the keyboard shortcut (front and center) it brings up the keyboard for use. because after testing on a 5' device its quite small as it currently is, and i see no way to adjust it how i need

Also I was wondering if there was a way to get it to display on top of the screen rather than the bottom, If you recall my windows phone project Keith I was thinking it might be nice if the small screen had 2 things on it in-place of the desktop, Firstly would be the on-screen keyboard, and secondly for the top half would be the metro UI.

Im also looking for a way to keep both of these from minimizing when i attempt to drag a window over (I assume there's a registry value for this feature?) ]]>
