Problem solved:

- Reset Chrome to default settings
- Uninstall chrome
- Run Regedit as Administrator and delete any keys that look/smell like Chrome. I went through caver_tim's list list from https://support.google.com/chrome/thread/200625561/browser-hijack?hl=en not all the keys listed were present on my machine.

1. Delete the registry keys:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Google\Chrome
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Google\Chrome
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Google\Chrome
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Google\Chrome
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Google\Update
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\WOW6432Node\Google\Enrollment

2. Delete the value named CloudManagementEnrollmentToken from the registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\WOW6432Node\Google\Update\ClientState\{430FD4D0-B729-4F61-AA34-91526481799D}

3. Delete the directory where Google Update writes cached cloud policies:
%ProgramFiles(x86)%\Google\Policies

After doing all this, I reset my machine and reinstalled Chrome.

Since posting this last night, I've tried a few more things:
6. The issue seems to be limited to Chrome. I can succesfully share the Mirror Window when I run Google Meet on Edge and Firefox.
7. Attempting to reset Chrome to Default settings and sharing the Mirror Window displays the same error message.
8. Attempting to open Chrome in Incognito Mode and sharing the Mirror Window displays the same error message.

Hello,
I have a C49RG9X split into 2x 5120x1440 virtual screens using displayFusion. I can use the Mirror Monitor function to have a window showing the left or right "virtual screen".

My issue:
When I attempt to use Google meet to screen share the left or right virtual screen, I receive an error "Can't share your screen; Sorry, an error occurred when screensharing".

I have tried:
1. Sharing the Mirror Monitor window using Microsoft Teams. It works fine and I can successfully share.
2. Turning Hardware Acceleration off/on in google chrome. I receive the same error message.
3. Adding Chrome.exe in DisplayFusion's Compatibility view with "Disable application hooks" ticked. I receive the same error message.
4. Uninstalling and reinstalling Chrome. I receive the same error message
5. Uninstalling and reinstalling DisplayFusion (but keeping the settings). I receive the same error message.
