I was troubleshooting another program (Goodsync Explorer), and the developer said DF was "injecting a suspicious library built without symbols" blah blah blah, so I did a complete uninstall of DF to verify it wasn't the problem, and it wasn't. In the process, I selected to remove all settings and preferences, thinking a clean install would be a great idea anyhow. Made sure I had me license handy. Made sure to do a fresh settings backup. Upon reinstalling, was shocked to find the entire settings backup directory was deleted by the uninstall!! WTF! I think the uninstaller takes deleting all settings and preferences a little too strictly when it reaches into my documents folder and deletes something! I guess I get to do a more clean install than I was intending.
