I spent some time going through my PC to see what could be contending with this, and I was able to fix it.

What ended up happening was some contention with a tool I use called "ExplorerPatcher". The tool was outdated and Microsoft Defender was blocking an update. Once I updated that to the latest version, the issue was corrected upon a system reboot.

I am very sorry to waste the dev time looking into this when the issue was external. Could you send me a debug log? Here are the steps:

• On the DisplayFusion Settings > Troubleshooting tab, change the Logging drop-down to "L1: Log Minimal" and click Apply
• Reproduce the issue and note the time so we'll know where to check in the log file
• Click the "Export Info to File" button on the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
• Reply with the file attached
• Disable debug logging after sending the log

Eventually, the issue resolved itself, I assumed via an update to either Display Fusion or Windows.
(I have my taskbar set to display all the tray icons on both monitors)
However, since last week, this issue returned with the most recent windows update.

Is this a known issue? If needed I can dig in and get my windows/DF versions and provide logfiles. ]]>
