My monitor has an "fps" indicator which directly indicates if gsync is working or not.
It just stayed at 240 the entire time indicating gsync wasn't working.
I've just tested with the nvidia gsync indicator, and it does disappear.

I think it might be limited to 3 monitor setups. Like just stuff that makes MPO not work.

Hello!
The marvels of bleeding edge technology.
It doesn't matter if u enable the indicator before or after. gsync just doesn't work.
I'm also a triple monitor user, and I hadn't realized it was DF causing some of my games to have this issue.
If you close the right taskbar. OR if you move right taskbar to the side. OR disabling one monitor.

According to the Special K discord DF taskbar causes the games to go into composed flip.
Someone theorized the taskbar slightly overlaps the main monitor? I'm not sure if it's true.

I can't get it to happen right now without upscaling my main monitor using DSDLR to 4k, but I swear it also happens without. because I remember this issue with cod and disabling my left monitor would work, but it was finnicky.

1440p 1440p (240hz) 1440p
but middle one is scaled to 4k at the minute.

I tried lies of P, cod warzone, and hunt showdown, for this little testing

Win11 24H2 (26100.3775)

nvidia 5080

I'm no expert on these things, but now that I think about it maybe my COD issue was with my 3080.
I've read that MPO is buggy, maybe this is the cause. the 50 series have improved support for DSC that my main monitor uses so it has MPO enabled according to Special k, however if I use DSDLR to 4k then there's only 1 MPO plane/disabled. Perhaps it's related.

As a holder-on of the old Nvidia Control Panel app, I don't have their indicator... but if I turn on the VRR overlay of my main screen, it says GSYNC when it should and FIXED when I manually turn it off. My second screen is a "business" 60Hz screen with no gaming features but has the DisplayFusion taskbar on. I hear that the newer Nvidia app would not allow me to try RTX HDR with this mix of monitors, so I have no idea about that.

I found out just now that even if display fusion is disabled but I ENABLE windows multi-taskbar (show taskbar on all displays), it does the same thing in not enabling gsync and rtx hdr. What could be the issue?
