We have another test build ready to go and testing is much easier this time. If you're able to give this a try we really just need you to test going from your 4-monitor setup to your 6-monitor setup. That's the one that seems to be failing everytime on the first try. And we don't need a log, just a yes or no if it works or not.

We have put together another test build, would you be able to give this one a try and let me know how it works for you? It should download as DisplayFusionSetup-11.2-Beta2-TEST8.exe and be called "11.2 Beta 2" once installed. If it's still failing can you send another debug.log file for us to examine? Very much appreciated, hopefully we can get this sorted out for you soon!

When you run this, there's a "Copy Info to Clipboard" button at the top of the window, you can paste it directly into your reply, or save it to a text file and attach it. It's ok that DF detects it after you've set it with Windows, we just need to see some low-level values that Windows is setting and compare them to what we're seeing in the log.

Our developers have also found and fixed an issue with the profile loading that could be related, and we're building another test build for you to try out. I'll post that as soon as it's ready, but meantime if you could still send the info from the tool, it will help us if the test build still doesn't work.

When you have some time, could you setup those monitors as portrait using the Windows display settings, and then run this tool and send us the output? We need to cross-reference it with what DisplayFusion is seeing to confirm a couple of things.

I've got an update from our developers, they've done a code review but can't pinpoint a specific change as there was a fairly big rework for that build. If you're able to send over the debug log from the test build, it should hopefully point us in the right direction.

That's good to know, thanks for the update on that! We've been trying to reproduce this issue here but haven't had any success. Activating profiles with portrait monitors works correctly on our test systems here.

If we can narrow it down to a specific beta between 11.0.5 and 11.1.1, we can do a code diff to see if we can spot what changed. Would you be able to try each of these versions and let us know which version it broke in?

11 days ago, problem always persists. The only possible source is that the 2 monitors that cannot be re-connected from Displayfusion are in Portrait mode. One is a 4k the 2nd is a 1200p monitor, both in in potrait mode. If I load a profile with one of them in landscape instead of portrait it works for the one in landscape, not for the one in portrait. I wonder if I should downgrade to a previous version
