I just tried monitor fading and was wondering if there's any way to 'smooth' the fading process? I have the fade time set to 500ms and I can see an obvious stutter (I guess you would call it) when the screens fade. It's not horrific like a strobing effect, but it's super distracting and would def put me off from using the feature. Is there maybe a registry setting or patch that fixes this?

Basically what happens is that the fading seems to be happening at about 20% per 100ms. Instead of that 20% being gradual over the 100ms it appears that the fade effect is simply changing the brightness down by 20% at each 100ms interval. So, instead of a smooth transitition it appears choppy. Any ideas?
