So I did as you instructed, and changed the timeout to one minute. One minute later it (of course it did!) worked perfectly. Twice in a row. If the issue recurs I'll be back.

Here are the steps:

  • On the DisplayFusion Settings > Troubleshooting tab, change the Logging drop-down to "L1: Log Minimal"
  • Reproduce the issue and note the time so we'll know where to check in the log file
  • Click the "Export Info to File" button on the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Reply with the file attached
  • Disable debug logging after sending the log

I have the photo screensaver set to use a separate folder of photos for each of two monitors. When I click on "Preview" in Screensaver settings, it works as it should, but recently, within the last few weeks or so, when it triggers, it goes to a black background with no pictures displayed. Worked a treat for years - I haven't a clue what may have caused this behavior. Any help or hints would be greatly appreciated. ]]>
