DisplayFusion uses all 3 of the matching conditions if they are enabled to match windows. The Window Text is a CONTAINS match, so you can try to alter it if the Window Text is changing throughout the day.

Window Positions persist through reboots in Window Position Profiles.

The 0,0 location is the upper left corner of the primary monitor, the port doesn't matter as long as the ID's & primary monitor aren't changing.

What issue are you actually running into? The profiles won't prevent windows from moving, it will just move them back when it's loaded.

Questions:

What troubleshooting details would help?

DisplayFusion: Uses (1) exe name (2) window class (3) title. Is title alone enough? How does matching work?

TradingView issue: Chrome app (class: "Chrome_WidgetWin_1"), dynamic title (has price). I tried removing the price from the title, but that didn't solve my problem.

Do positions reset after reboot?

Same HDMI port = consistent positioning?

Thanks you!
