My graphics system was a pain to configure. I had an old GeForce 1070 card that could happily run three monitors and a TV in PC mode all at 1920x1080 resolution. But I wanted to upgrade to 4k OLED displays, with an ultra-wide 49" monitor above three 27" 4k monitors. I tried an RTX4070 but discovered it could only run two or three monitors at best. I ended up with two RTX6000 Ada cards to get all four monitors running perfectly. My PC has an Intel Xeon W7 CPU with 24 cores, 128Gb RAM and 9 SSD drives with the system drive running off an ultrafast PCIe5 bus, so my system is no slouch!!!

Sometimes, a single monitor will change its wallpaper image before all four monitors are updated.

yes delays you talk about seem to be longer than expected even if I have three screens it's witin 30 seconds, I'm running a Geforce RTC card and 64md ram on a SATA drive win-11 .. I haven't optermised it yet and still the loads seem quite fluid. maybe if you set them to change background at different intervals it would assist it's display times ( if you don't mind that option ) and it depends where your screens are pluged into I'm guessing having 4 screen your PC has four HDMI ports and mine has only two HAMI ports from the grapics card and the last screen is a HDMI direct from the motherboard, but I only use that screen for reading files AKA WhatsApp chat.
the main screens are either Transpport Fever 2 and next year TF3 when it comes out. or such Sims as RaceRoom Etc is running here on one screen or three. I just need to practice going faster to win $10,000 So they say.
then again having the backgrunds changing is automaticlly happening in the background at those times.
P.S. I'm running all screens at 1920 x 1080 REs.
p.p.s. I have the bacrgound wallpapers set to "fit best and maintain aspect ration ( no cliping )"

I have a four monitor set-up and DisplayFusion works brilliantly with it. I use the Wallpaper module to display random jpeg images from a specific folder with each monitor displaying different pictures and with different time intervals to minimise the chances of all images changing at once.

What I have noticed if I select the "Load Next Wallpaper Slideshow Image", whether it be from the desktop context menu, a keyboard shortcut, or a titlebar button, there is a delay before the next group of images displays.

I was hoping that using this option would generate an immediate refresh of all 4 displays without any delay.
