Of course, I had only set this via the energy saving option and not via the screen saver.

Now I'm wondering (every option in the screen saver is the same,
where it also dims the monitors during operation, i.e., reduces the screen brightness)

I have a suggestion that could improve both efficiency and performance in DisplayFusion:

Currently, when using the screen timeout or monitor power-off feature, Windows fully powers off the monitors. The problem is that every time they wake up, the monitors and Windows need to reinitialize the display connection, which can cause delays, flickering, or even temporary window rearrangements.

It would be extremely helpful if DisplayFusion offered an option to simply dim or black out the monitors instead of completely powering them off.

This would have several benefits:

No full reinitialization when waking the screens

Faster wake-up time

Less stress on the graphics driver and display hardware

Improved workflow efficiency, especially on multi-monitor setups

Essentially, the monitors would remain active, just with a dimmed or black overlay, avoiding the full on/off cycle entirely.

Would this be possible to implement as an alternative to the current timeout behavior?
