Then using a custom function to set windows to the specific location and size of where that upper/lower split would have been, when you want to move windows there.

however, doing that. the space where the taskbar was is just a black band that neither window can maximize and use. also, once I did that, the lower taskbar didn't refresh and have the program windows appear on it, which left the programs harder to access.

If I have taskbars selected, due to the low FHD res of the 24", I lose 3/4" to the taskbar for the top display, so I want that to only have one taskbar at the very bottom. but for my 27", I would like to have a taskbar on each display.

so I wonder if there's a way I can select just my 27" 2K to have a taskbar on each display on it but only one on the 24", even though it's also split into two displays? ]]>
