Windows will automatically set the icons based on the available work area, but this can change based on which monitors are powered on, if taskbars are enabled on all or some monitors, etc. There isn't a way to prevent this from happening, but you can use our Desktop Icon Profiles to move them back to specific locations when they get shuffled. We have a guide on working with Desktop Icon Profiles here: https://www.displayfusion.com/Help/#settings-desktopiconprofiles

I'm running Windows 11 25H2 Build 26200.7171 and DisplayFusion Pro 11.1.1
I have two Dell monitors (one DP, one DVI-D) and a Samsung TV (HDMI) connected to PC.
The DVI-D monitor is my main screen.
Normally I boot up with only the Dell monitors powered on.
Occasionally the desktop icons are displaced with some appearing on monitor two.
This can sometimes be fixed by powering up the Samsung TV, but sometimes I have to reload the Desktop Icon Profile.

Is there any way to permanently fix this?
