I just forced an update and it took me to 24H2. Still need to get to 25H2. However, I still have the same options on the Windows taskbar that I did before that you seem to not be able to see.

I did notice that after the update there were quite a few visual changes, which makes me think that when I get up to 25H2 that those options may change.

Evidently what you are seeing is a problem sometimes with new installs and requires following disabling and enabling the jump list setting in Windows. I found an article that talks about doing this: https://www.thewindowsclub.com/how-to-disable-taskbar-jump-list-in-windows-7. They also mention unpinning and pinning Brave back to the taskbar between disabling and enabling this setting. Despite the URL saying windows 7, the link provides infor for Windows 10 and 11.

I also noticed with other app icons on the DF taskbar that have available 'Tasks' work as expected. Applications that this still works with on my computer are Firefox, Chrome, and Thunderbird. All 3 of them show a tasks section on the right-click menu on the DF taskbar. It is only Brave that does not.

Something else I found mentioned how you install or if you have uninstalled and reinstalled Brave. This one I am not certain if it matters, but you can download a standalone installer for Brave from their Github page. I only saw one mention of this fixing someone having the issue you are seeing. With regards to the uninstall and reinstall, they say to make sure not to delete browser history. Also not sure what the benefit of doing this provides, just that it was mentioned in the forums.

After updating to the latest release, I can no longer right click on the DF taskbar icon for the many programs and get the same or very simlar menu options that I do when performing the same action on the Windows Taskbar on my primary monitor. This worked on the varsion 11 and older releases, but stopped with version 12 of DF. I've also noticed this problem with other programs like Adobe Reader, Greenshot, Thunderbird, all Libre Office applications, etc. I've only found a couple that I use regularly that work very close to the same as the Windows taskbar. Those are Chrome and Firfox.

Any ideas on what could have changed that would have brkoen this functionality?
