So unfortunately it appears the behavior has reverted to stretching upon monitor change. it fixes itself pretty fast (maybe 2~3 seconds, much faster than pre v12.0), but oddly until yesterday or so the switch was instantaneous and did not leave stretching effects (still using centered). I tried reapplying the wallpaper, restarting pc fresh etc but can no longer replicate that instantaneous effect. I use the same option for using the same wallpaper on both monitors (on the 4:3 it simply crops the sides).

I don't see any software that could be confusing DisplayFusion since my PC boots up with very few startup items. Unless I need to clear some cache somewhere or tweak some settings I'm fully confused as to what could have caused the change.

My setup:
Monitor 1 : 2560x1440 120fps
Monitor 2: 1600x1200 60fps
OS: Windows 10 latest version
Usage: one monitor at a time, rarely ever both simultaneously

At the release of v12.0 I was about to come post on the forum to thank the development team for the incredible work. I've been using Displayfusion from one account or another since way back around 2008, and I feel this was the best update improving stability and features ever. Thank you for all the hard work.

One of the improvements I found most striking was that when changing monitors between monitors with different aspect ratios (16:9 and a 4:3), the same wallpaper used on both no longer appeared in repeated fashion over the next monitor, and was centered and straight the second of the change. However sadly from v12.0.1 it now starts appearing squished (or stretched depending in which direction I got (ie 4:3 monitor > 16:9 monitor). Still an improvement from the old behavior but not quite as perfect as with v12.0.

Was that behavioral change in v12.0.1 part of some collateral issue that needed addressing or could it be a minor regression?

Anyway for years my understanding was that nothing could be done to make the transition smoother so I'm very grateful for this and all the other changes /fixes introduced into v12.0. As it stands v12.0.1 is still a major improvement as far as I'm concerned.

The only bug v12.0 seems to have introduced on my end is that when switching from the 1600x1200 60fps monitor to the 2560x1440 120fps monitor if I put the the 60fps monitor into standby within 6~7 seconds of the switch, the 120fps monitor begins flickering for about 6~7 seconds before calming down. This didn't happen prior to the update.
