I've installed the Android DF remote app. It's up and running fine, I can remotely run functions on my PC. But what I'm looking at is a way to create shortcuts on my home screen to specific functions, so I don't have to open the app.

I know Tasker has an integration with it through a DF plugin. As with anything to do with Tasker, it was really cumbersome to create a simple shortcut but it did work. But randomly one day the plugin somehow vanished and all my shortcuts broke even though the DF app works fine, so I rather not rely on Tasker anymore. ]]>
