DisplayPort monitors will actually disconnect from Windows when they sleep. Launched Monitor Configuration, clicked Apply. Went to the window and hit 'Maximize' and it sized to the proper area.

It LOOKS like when I lock my screen and the monitor turns off, and I come back some time later, log back in, I notice two things.

First, the monitor shows that the GEFORCE G-SYNC is re-enabled (meaning the toast notification on the bottom right comes up), and that a noise for a device inserted is sounded.

Could it be that when the monitor turns off, its removing the monitor from the system, and when it comes back the Monitor placement is off? And restarting the DisplayFusion app resets its placement?

I just noticed that the monitor shows Generic PnP, so I downloaded the drivers for the monitor (AW3418DW), maybe that may fix the power issue and subsequent device change.

Hey sir!

It started doing it this morning, only difference was it was working when I first booted up, I locked the screen and ran out of the house for an errand.

Came back, wiggled mouse and unlocked screen, now windows are sizing weird.

Hi sir! I do not, however I do have items like teamviewer, Citrix Receiver and a few others installed. Essentailly, I have my 34" Wide Screen setup using a 50/50 horizonal split. When moving an app over to another section, either 1:1 or 1:2, it maximizes farther than the taskbar (essentially the taskbar floats over the window). It also stops showing me the preview for the split (grays the screen and shows 1:1 or 1:2). If I move the window completely to either side of the screen and invoke the MS windows management, it moves the window to the proper size, but if you hit the maximize button, again it goes under the task bar.

If I close DF and reopen it, it goes back to working as it should for awhile, then stops working again randomly, and I have to close and reopen the app for it to work again.
