Unfortunately there's no way around this receiver issue. We also don't have a way to prevent your mouse from moving to the TV, but you could set a key combination for the "Move all windows to current monitor" function, which should make it easier to get your windows back to your monitors when they get moved.

Monitor 1 <== HDMI === PC === HDMI ==> AV Receiver === HDMI ==> 4KTV

Monitor 2 <== HDMI === ^^

So I have a PC that feeds 2 monitors via HDMI.
That same PC feeds my AV Receiver with HDMI.

The AV Receiver, in turn, feeds the TV via HDMI.

I work on the 2 monitors most of the time, but sometimes I switch to the TV to play a game or watch a movie from my PC. So, I usually want either the 2 monitors OR the TV, but not all 3 together.

Trouble is, when I use DisplayFusion to disable the TV, it disables the sound because it's actually disabling the AV Receiver.

On the other hand, if I leave the TV enabled while I'm working on the monitors, my mouse will go to the TV, even though the TV is turned off. Also, sometimes I turn off the monitors to go watch TV (not from my PC), and when I go back to the monitors some windows have switched to the TV and I can't get them back without switching the AV Receiver to TV and moving the windows by hand.

Does anyone else struggle with this?

What I would like is the option of "disabling" the TV without disabling the AV Receiver. Basically the TV would be ignored for displaying anything, but the audio would still work. Is that even possible? ]]>
