I can be using Firefox and the taskbar won't respond to the mouse being moved to the bottom of the screen. But if I minimize Firefox to show the desktop, it starts working. Then I maximize Firefox again and it keeps on working for a while.

I'm not sure how you've made it work. Does it keep a 1 pixel height bar at the bottom that is sometimes not staying on top? If I minimize everything on that screen so I'm back to the desktop then it starts working again. And if I maximize the same applications it keeps on working. So I haven't found what triggers it yet, sorry. ]]>
