As for the settings I'm interested in never combine, never show lables - and that's only available through the registry.

However, the Windows taskbar has a setting to make it icons only. Just right-click it, choose Properties, and set the Taskbar Buttons drop-down to "Always combine, hide labels."

I'm trying out DF and noticed that I can't customize the taskbar on the main window. I can right click on the secondary taskbar which brings the set of various options but on the main window I get the standard menu (as if DF is not installed).
In my case I want to buttons to be icon only (no text/label) but I can't find a way to do that - I have even exported the settings, added the option and imported them back to no avail.
It looks as if the main taskbar is 'special' and can't be customized.

Any thoughts?
