I use an add-on called Shove-it that moves Windows and Dialogs out from under taskbars (and optionally, inside the screen bounds), but it would be nice if this functionality were part of DisplayFusion.

I * believe* this is bad coding on their end. Iv'e seen this behavior before, and its likely due to some part of their code that "adjusts" For the taskbar being on the bottom. IE the program stores last pixel coordinates, then adjusts for taskbar, but since the taskbar isn't there, the adjustment is made to no avail and then the window inches up. Try it with the windows taskbar being on top if you want, if I'm right it should happen there too.

Windows 7 x64 Enterprise. I have not set the taskbar to auto-hide. Further experimentation seems to indicate that only Notepad++ does it. With each launch, it climbs higher and higher until ultimately, it's completely off the screen. With each launch, it climbs up what appears to be the height of the taskbar. It's Notepad++ 5.8.7 (Unicode). It does not exhibit the behavior if DisplayFusion is not running, or if the taskbar is at the bottom of the display.

I've searched thru the forums and haven't seen this question. I'm using the eval. DisplayFusion and so far, so good. I run it alongside Deskspace, of which I am a long-time customer. (I'm not going to go into compatibility issues here - I'm working around those I've discovered, and not using the features in DisplayFusion that seem to directly conflict.)<br/>
<br/>
My problem is with the multi-monitor taskbar. A very nice feature! My setup is a Win7 x64 laptop with two external monitors, one positioned on each side. I have DisplayFusion set to display the multi-monitor taskbars at the top of the display. I find that when I launch a program, such as Notepad++, and that program wants to start on, say the monitor to my right, the title and menu bars in the new window will often be positioned under the DisplayFusion taskbar, making them inaccessible with the mouse. Occasionally, the new window will be placed with the title and menu bars completely off the screen at the top. (Fortunately, I know that I can Alt-Space and move the window down with the keyboard).<br/>
<br/>
Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.
