You could save a profile that has that monitor disabled, and then load the profile after your computer is started. Windows also has an option in the Advanced Display Settings called "Prevent Windows from using this display", which might help you out here.

Recently I've popped the lid of my laptop open, due a message I kept getting, and when I do so upon startup the laptop monitor is on. I have to go and disconnect it all the time. Is there a setting or profile save etc, that I can use so that when it boots up DF disconnects that monitor for me? Thanks. ]]>
