thanks for the reply.
when disabling Multi-Monitor Taskbar > System Tray does that let you choose which monitor you want the tray to show on vs which you dont?
1) understood. and fortunately was last on my list so to speak.
2) this is great and i assume will do the trick if i can remove the DF related shortcuts and just keep innate windows ones.
lol for the love of god how are you getting spaces between your lines and no matter how many spaces i put between lines of text when i post it smooshes them all together.
So ive held off from upgrading to windows 11 for ONE single reason. the inability to have my tray on my non primary monitor.
since it was ability to be done stock with windows 10 i never looked into how the displayfusion MM taskbar feature operated.
i just fired it up to test it out and had a few questions/feature requests.
i assume theres no way to have the tray show on just 1 display and not both? i'm trying to mirror my windows 10 setup which is nothing but the start menu and the clock on my primary display, and my actual main taskbar/tray etc on my secondary display.
also would love an option to be added for two things specifically surrounding the displayfusion created taskbar.
1) right clicking on it to bring up the same options/context menu that right clicking on the windows one does as opposed to bringing up the displayfusion context menu.
2) the ability to turn off the displayfusion items from the jumplists
im a less is more, ocd, prefer it simple type person. while i want my current windows 10 workflow to be unaffected by a switch to 11, i dont feel good about creating negatives to negate a negative.
needless to say had microsoft not entirely neutered the start menu/task bar we wouldnt need to be having this discussion
