My current setup has three desktop monitors and a TV that is connected via HDMI (all to the same NVIDIA gfx card). Display fusion lets me set a profile to just enable the three desktop monitors when the TV isn't needed (this helps when I want to turn on the TV for my console without having my three desktop monitors blank out for a few seconds). The other profile is to just enable the TV to use Plex. My computer starts up without my TV connected - I only switch to it when needed using DisplayFusion

Here is my problem: I have been noticing that if I switch to my TV only profile the video pops up instantly but the audio driver takes 10 seconds or so to connect. The issue with this is that when I activate plex before waiting 10 seconds it cannot find the HDMI audio driver and switches to my computer speakers. I then have to go into plex's settings and manually change it every time. Lately I have been just waiting 15 seconds to be sure and then starting plex.

Here is my question: I am not entirely sure that this issue is caused by displayfusion (in fact I think this probably has more to do with NVIDIA drivers) but I wanted to see if this is a known bug. If it is not then is there anything you know that may solve my problem without having to leave that monitor always connected? Perhaps there is a way to keep the HDMI audio driver always connected without video.

Thank you very much for your help.
