It just means the when you uninstall the software doesn't roll back the changes it has made in the system.
I deactivated pagefile clearing entirely to solve the problem. Not ideal but I canät wait 5 min for a workstation to shut down.

Since you have several reports about this issue I would take it up with the software engineers.
It's 2015. Win 10 is soon to get released. Things like shouldn't happen.

Kinda pissed at the software tbh. It's 2015. SUch problems should not be existing in any software that messes up your OS.hy

I googled my issue, and this thread came up. I am experiencing similar issues with display fusion. I use the software to set a custom background for the login screen, and there are system hangs during the login process.

I leave my computer on sleep at all times, so the issue presents on wake. Typically there is a hang shortly after it wakes.

Tonight, I had a hang when I woke the system. I attempted to sleep then wake the pc after disabling DisplayFusion (the behavior started after I installed the software), and there was no delay with login. I disabled application hooks, as suggested here, and put the computer to sleep with display fusion running, and had no delay. For the last test, i re-enabled display fusion, and application hooks, and once again put it to sleep. When it woke, there was once again a delay.

I have not yet tested the issue with startup.

I installed display fusion today and shut down my computer. When I later rebooted again I had a huge pause at the windows login screen (there's only one user, me, no password) which usually only stays for about five seconds.
I also noticed that my taskbars were no longer transparent and the windows aero peek feature is gone, it just shows the name of the program.
I tried uninstalling. Reinstalling and uninstalling again with REVO uninstaller. Reinstalling with the latest beta. I just want to fix this problem as it is incredibly irritating.
Thanks
