Unfortunately have not been able to find one that suits my needs. However, on the Settings > Functions tab, you can set key combinations on the "Save Window Positions" and "Restore Window Positions From Last Save" functions. You can save them before you switch, and then restore them after switching back.

I am trying to get my head around all the options DF offers to see if it is possible to 'fix' a monitor configuration even if one is switched off.

I have a three display setup on my main PC, but want to use one monitor with a KVM switch to extend and control my laptop when required.

Problem is that the default windows behaviour on the main PC is to re-arrange all open windows onto the remaining displays when windows detects one being switched off (or switched to the laptop in my case, but the end result is the same).

Can I use DF to trick windows into believing the 3rd monitor is still attached so stuff just keeps running as I intended it?

Apologies if this has been asked before. I tried searching on this forum but since I am not sure what search term to use I failed to find any relevant discussions.
