Jon, just something I've run across: At work, I keep all my wallpapers on my usb hard drive that I bring in with me. I've noticed that when I fire up DF before I have the usb plugged in, it will blank out the existing wallpaper (because it can't find the ones on the usb drive), so then I'm levt looking at two black monitors.

I'm thinking if the wallpaper directory has changed and/or DF can't find them, it should at least leave the existing wallpaper intact? (if no exist then exit sub - kind of thing)

Also, possibly related, DF seems to reset to random when I've set it to pause. I'll look into the exact scenario where this happens.
