I misunderstood your original post. This is due to an issue where using the Windows API to remove a taskbar button from the Windows taskbar (as we do when DisplayFusion moves a button to the second monitor) causes it to unregister from Alt+Tab, Task View, and Virtual Desktops. There are currently two workarounds:
  • Set the Taskbar Mode (Settings > Taskbar) to "Windows shows all, DisplayFusion shows relevant," or,
  • Disable the DisplayFusion Multi-Monitor Taskbar feature and enable the Windows 10 built-in one (will lose some functionality though, like system tray icons on the second monitor)

Just installed Display Fusion. Not sure if displayfusion is causing this problem because it worked fine before. I cannot choose the window for the 2nd half of the screen when I snap another window to the other half.

Is there a way to toggle display fusion (toggle disabling displayfusion) so I can see if it is the problem? How do I temporarily turn off/disable display fusion when I want to?
