Not sure if that's technically feasible, but I will add it to our list and we'll see what we can find out.

In the meantime, do you need the taskbar on that split section? If not, you can disable it by right-clicking it and choosing Multi-Monitor Taskbar > Position > Disabled.

Thanks!

Hmm doesn't that kind of defeat the purpose of having the vertical splits? I did like having the tasbar in that split as I made some shortcut icons in it. I tried to disable it but whatever program is active in that split now uses the main taskbar, compounding my issues with being unable to merge that taskbar. It sounds like this is on your list so I will be patient.

How do I get that taskbar back anyway?
Edit: never mind I found it, enable all taskbars.

Edit2: I changed the taskbar to be on the left side so that helps a bit. Interestingly enough when I shift click to maximize the program still respects the left taskbar. I guess I can deal with that until you wizards improve it.

I have one of my monitors setup with 2 splits, one of them creates a taskbar right in the middle of the screen. Whenever I use shift+maximize to maximize a program to the entire physical monitor that taskbar is still viewable right in the middle of my program. Actually the program windows doesn't need to be maximized, it can simply be dragged in front of the taskbar.

The only setting I could find was the "show taskbar in front of full screen applications when they lose focus" and I made sure this is unchecked, but I don't think it's relevant anyway.
