As long as DisplayFusion is automatically detecting the monitor profiles (It should appear in the upper left corner of the Monitor Configuration window) between input switches, this should work.

Thank you, I know of this feature and while I know it will work for individuals who's desktop will go to "sleep" causing the issue I'm describing, I don't think it would be of much use for my situation where I'm actively switching the input source of my monitor? Unless perhaps I set the timer to something extremely low like 30 seconds so the windows positions are saved frequently in case I do switch the monitor input. The issue:
I currently have two computers plugged in to the same monitor.
1) My main PC via DisplayPort (With DisplayFusion)
2) Work PC via DisplayPort (Without DisplayFusion)
Whenever I switch between the two sources (ie: My PC vs Work PC) whichever PC is no longer on display stops reading the EDID information and the corresponding PC which is not being displayed thinks the monitor was disconnected and therefore readjusts all my windows/apps/shortcuts and shoves them on to any remaining active/auxiliary display. eg: My PC has 4 monitors connected to it, when I switch the source on the "main" display to my work PC. My PC then believes there is only 3 displays connected and all the desktop icons, windows, apps, all get read adjusted. Unfortunately this is apparently intended and currently there are no fixes for this.

Possible Solution:
Is it possible to implemented a "shadow monitor" in the monitor configuration screen of DisplayFusion which activates when a certain monitor is disconnected (Ie: When Monitor #3 is disconnected, activate shadow monitor) which acts as a dummy display and keeps everything where it's supposed to be? (Desktop icons, windows, apps, etc). I'm not sure if this is possible via software but any feedback would be appreciated!

Possible Solution 2:
Add an option to do EDID editing via DisplayFusion. It looks like there are some utilities out there that allow for this (CRU for example) that can possible be used to override this issue by permanently setting the EDID of a display to a registry line for example instead of reading it off the display. ]]>
