It doesn't maximize it to the split, it maximizes it to the entire screen. I just want to drag the window, not resized and snapped to a split, not maximized to the entire screen, normally. I want to get back the stock behavior of dragging around windows with a modifier, while being able to snap to splits without it (or vice-versa).

I am about to just uninstall DF and ask for a refund.
I am using DF to enable splitting my 5120x1440 monitor into four sets of 1280x1440.
However, I can't seem to find a way to NOT snap to sets of 1280x1440. Holding the Shift modifier key just full screens the window. How do I drag normally?
