DisplayFusion can't change the monitor IDs, so it sounds like they're changing for some other reason, maybe a driver update? If you reboot, do they switch back to the correct monitors?

No. in fact it now changed the identity of monitors, switching 1<>2 when I load the profile. Some icons were removed altogether. Dunno why this is happening because I have made no changes in settings.

When the icons get shuffled around, if you try to load the Desktop Icon Profile that you saved, does anything happen? e.g. do they move to different (but wrong) spots, or just not move at all?

After arranging icons on both monitors I save the profile. Within days some of the icons on monitor 2 are back on #1. In addition, the arrangement of icons on both monitors has been changed.
This has been going on for months> How can I fix this?

Win7 ultimate, GeForce 1060, Display Fusion 9
