I no longer notice mouse-lag in Outlook 2007. Haven't used the PC enough to give a thorough test, but Sims 3 is almost trouble free although it does happen once in a while, not nearly as frequent as it once did. This has been bugging me for weeks! Using Outlook 2007 on Exchange, if I click a new message I haven't read yet I would get a breif moment of mouse lag whilst it loads the page. Or playing Sims 3 my wife would complain of mouse lag for up to 5 seconds, yet the game is still running fine in the background, she just can't move the mouse when she clicks on her Sim sometimes.

However, today the free trial of Displayfusion ended, so I exit'd the application and the problems disappeared! I never for the life of me thought it would be this causing the issue. If I'd of had enough free time over the last few weeks I would of re-installed Windows as it was driving me crazy.

Where is the log located? I click "open log location" but it doesn't do anything.

It happens especially when I'm installing new software. I have to test it further but I don't think it happens with the taskbar turned off.

This happens when i have enabled taskbars on all desktops.
On a dual core it can be troubling..

A few bugs were discovered after releasing it (as with any software) so I've been working to clear them all up. Windows 7 has added an extra challenge to the process as well. The Windows 7 taskbar is so radically different from XP/Vista that it has been interesting trying to interact with it. :) ]]>
