Ah gotcha, glad you found the auto-backups then as well. It will make a backup every time a new version is installed

Thanks for the info, but what I was actually needing to know what the default settings backup path was since I never set up an override and the default is "Auto-detect" (so there's no registry entry for it).

Anyway I think I found the folder being used because it had a number of files in it with names like these:

DisplayFusion Backup (2015-09-23 @ 15-15, 7.3.1.0, COMPUTERNAME).reg

DisplayFusion Backup (2015-07-27 @ 11-55, 7.2.0.0, COMPUTERNAME).reg

which appear to contain copies of the all the

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Binary Fortress Software\DisplayFusion

registry values.

It's much easier for me to get the previous taskbar shortcut information from these files than it would have been trying to get them from the backed-up Window's registry.

Glad to hear you found it! For anyone else that comes across this thread, they're stored in the registry in the following key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Binary Fortress Software\DisplayFusion\Taskbars\X (where X is the ID of the monitor that the taskbar is on).

Where does DF 7.3c store the shortcuts I create on my second monitor?

I want to know because while in the process of reconfiguring monitor connections on my computer, I existed DF since only one monitor was working at time, but later after both were hooked-up again, all my short cuts had disappeared.

I know DF stores them somewhere, like in a file or the registry, and would like to see if I can retrieve them from a backup I have of my C: drive.
