It has happened with command prompts, browsers with no animation, browser with animation/video, video player, etc. I could avoid it by using the move to next screen function, but only until I forgot and then that BSOD.....

I'm currently on the Windows Insider Preview Fast ring. Since build 14277, I've been having BSOD when dragging windows between monitor. I just received Build 14279 and the issue is still present. I decided to close Display Fusion to see and no more BSOD.

I'm on build 8.0 Beta 4. Had no problem on 1511. Right now, I'm on the process to find what cause the BSOD, is it the multi-monitor taskbar, an option in the screen handler (I think it's the screen snaping or the mouse alignement).

  • On the Troubleshooting tab, change the Logging drop-down to "L1: Log Minimal"
  • Restart DisplayFusion
  • Reproduce the issue and note the time so we'll know where to check in the log file
  • Send us the DisplayFusion.log and DebugInfo.html files (can be found by clicking the Open Log button on the Troubleshooting tab)
  • Disable debug logging after sending the log

It happens when I load a game and after the game has initialized graphics. After that occurs, it is a random occurrence as to when it'll happen. However, if I stay at the desktop and don't load a game, it doesn't seem to happen.
