You can definitely do that. In the settings export, you'll see there's a section for taskbars, and there are sub-sections for the monitor IDs, so you can definitely change the monitor IDs in the export, then import it and be good to go. I don't want to set the 10 taskbars manually for every computer, just because the Display ID is different (and the rest is the same).

In the meantime, you can make it slightly easier by backing up the settings (Settings > Options > Export) for each configuration. You can then load the appropriate backup when switching the cables.

But when the display order in Windows is different (can be reproduced by just switching cables), the splits seem to be restored fine, but the taskbar configuration is wrong. So I have to click thousand times to fix it every time.

And: The monitor prifiles don't save the taskbar settings. ]]>
