When this issue hurted me bad while doing a presentation, I decided to search for the fix. I ended up to this discussion thread and the advanced configuration seem to have resolved it for now. This issue was anyway not predictable so I will have to see if it indeed fixed the problem. DisplayFusion runs elevated, but Steam doesn't, so it can't send virtual mouse clicks to the DF taskbar. Could you try another setting for me? Set the "disallow topmost" option back to default, and enable the "Troubleshooting: Force ToolTips to be Top not TopMost" option instead. Please restart DisplayFusion after making that change and then let me know if everything is still ok with that option enabled.
